During August of 2021, the Moral Compass Federation (MCF) and The Lifeline Foundation were part of a joint effort to support the evacuation of people and families from Afghanistan who were in danger of being killed, kidnapped, or tortured.

During 2022, and several months of 2023, the Lifeline Foundation was able to evacuate and resettle over two dozen Afghans, including women and children. With assistance from local governments, many now have work permits and the children can enter into local schools.
